The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea: Across the Street, Around the World

TSP was appointed to gain local and London-wide press coverage for The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea’s festival ‘Across the Street, Around the World’, which celebrates the borough’s culturally diverse heritage and community with 60 arts events across 30 venues throughout the Autumn 2009. RBKC have a small budget to spend on PR so TSP have devised a strategy that focuses PR activity on a handful of key events that will take place through the season. The season, which runs from 3 September to 18 December, includes dance, film, live music, poetry, visual art, walking tours, theatre and exhibitions. It explores the cultural heritage and community in Kensington and Chelsea from Irish traditional music to Chinese and North African food via Iranian comedy and Brazilian dance.
