HSBC Private Bank
June 2007
TSP worked with Four Communications (sponsorship specialists and consumer PR agency to attract potential clients to the bank and reflect its philosophy to “assume nothing”.
TSP co-ordinated activity internationally, ensuring that key messages, logo usage and stories were agreed and expressed coherently.
Alongside a media campaign that explored the increased interest in design as a potential asset and focused on UK and Middle East journalists, a leveraging campaign created further stories and extended the offer for VIPs. This included the creation, by internationally acclaimed landscape designer Enzo Enea, of an HSBC Private Bank Garden Lounge for VIPs within the Markthalle (the Basel venue for Design Miami/Basel), a programme of talks on collecting design by experts including Alice Rawsthorn, design critic of the International Herald Tribune, and an international advertising campaign that supported editorial coverage.
TSP recruited journalists for a trip to the fair working closely with Art Basel to ensure that they were hosted at both design and art events.
