A 5-day exclusive with The Guardian was agreed at an early stage. TSP embargoed interviews and extracts from the book until after The Guardian features had appeared. Other exclusives were offered to other publications.
TSP set up and managed the guest lists for the book launch party at Bonhams and the Stella McCartney t-shirt launch party at her shop, with celebrity and art, fashion and publishing world guests including art critic Robert Hughes, actress Helen Mirren, model Twiggy and singer Chrissie Hynde.
Specialist art, book and film reviewers were encouraged to visit the exhibitions and review/ preview copies of the R. Crumb Handbook were distributed.
