Riflemaker becomes Indica

November 2006 – February 2007

Indica (1965-67) was London’s first conceptual art space, the gallery where John Lennon met Yoko Ono, and the hangout for the movers and shakers of 1960s London. Riflemaker re-created the gallery in their Soho space, working with the original curators Miles and John Dunbar, Tate’s archive department, the artists who showed at Indica in the 60s (including Boyle Family, Takis, Liliane Lijn and Julio Le Parc), and inviting contemporary artists including Conrad Shawcross and Jaime Gili to make new work.

TSP was briefed to manage all aspects of the press campaign.
