The Wallace Collection: Theatres of Life

Drawings from the Rothschild Collection

June – January 2008

‘Theatres of Life: Drawings from the Rothschild Collection’ was the fifth and final exhibition to result from the partnerships that The Wallace Collection has with five museums and heritage houses around the country. It included around 75 rare drawings collected mainly by Baron Edmond de Rothschild in the nineteenth century shown outside Waddesdon Manor for the first time.

As part of our ongoing work for The Wallace Collection’s exhibition programme, TSP created a campaign to reach The Wallace Collection’s core audience as well as those with an interest in drawings and French history.
