Francesco Xanto Avelli da Rovigo was one of the most celebrated ceramic artists of his time, a Renaissance man of poetry and politics who dared to depict subjects that others steered away from. Xanto: Pottery-Painter, Poet, Man of the Italian Renaissance was the first exhibition dedicated to his work.
The campaign aimed to attract The Wallace Collection’s core audience of visitors aged 40-plus as well as established museum goers and those with a specific interest in decorative arts.
