Canadian Centre for Architecture
TS&P worked with the CCA to promote their ongoing exhibition programme and publications from 2010-2012.
A leading voice in the field of architecture, the CCA was founded in 1979 on the conviction that architecture is a public concern, giving researcher access to its world class library and archive.
Housed in a much lauded modern building and the 125-year-old Shaughnessy House, this museum offers fascinating glimpses into architecture, urban design and more esoteric fields: a recent exhibit Other Space Odysseys, focused on the impact of space travel on architecure.
Permanent collections include the sketches, plans and photographs of famous architects and buildings and elements of the holdings are displayed through the exhibition programme. The museum frequently plays host to premiere touring exhibits, such as the James Stirling retrospective (2012) which travelled to Tate Britain.
