Ushida Findlay Architects
TS&P was appointed to work with Ushida Findlay Architects to raise awareness of and generate press coverage on the practice. The practice was at the forefront of pioneering free-form design, which was the principle reason for their being invited to work as the delivery architects for the ArcelorMittal Orbit.
Ushida Findlay Architects was widely regarded as one of the most outstanding architectural design practices of their generation. Kathryn Findlay built ground-breaking projects in Japan, the UK and the Gulf. UFA's work was known for being responsive to different contexts: historic, contemporary and cultural, with an emphasis on being sensitive to circumstances and listening to the needs and tastes of client.
Tragically Kathryn passed away in January 2014.
