The Wallace Collection: Boucher and Chardin
June - September 2008
TSP worked with the Wallace Collection’s in-house team and The Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery to create a campaign focusing on stories around the themes of French genre painting, domestic interiors and tea drinking. Specifically the campaign highlighted the bringing together of the two main Boucher and Chardin paintings for the first time and a pair of Chardin’s that had not been seen together since 1765.
TSP facilitated critics’ visits to the exhibition prior opening and additionally managed a press briefing at The Wallace Collection the day before the exhibition opened with 15 foreign and UK journalists attending. A press pack was created and posted to key reviewers with the exhibition catalogue before and after the opening.
