James Rhodes
Pianist James Rhodes wants to dispense with the ‘straitjacket’ approach to classical music. He wants to interact and communicate with his audience. Performances will focus on the immersive experience that classical music can offer, a far cry from the raked seating and distant, spot-lit, white tie and tails maestro stereotype that has ruled the classical performance world for so long. His debut album Razor Blades, Little Pills and Big Pianos will be released by independent label Signum Records, 2 February 2009
